And so it begins…the new season for NCNCA cyclocross starts tomorrow at Fort Ord with its 17th season of CCCX. Despite the mid-week brief thunderstorms, the venue will be dry and dusty, typical for this time of year in Northern California. Course designers still have a lot to work with to challenge the “cyclocrosser” at his Central Coast locale.

This year will see a new Best All-round Racer (BAR) for cyclocross with points accumulated across several categories and events; details on the schedule and points-scoring will appear here soon. Visit this site often to keep abreast of the standings plus a little race coverage and photography.
