NCNCA Cyclocross Underway after CCCX Opener

Cyclocross is now underway after over 220 racers from around the NCNCA took to CCCX at Fort Ord. Mild temperatures and sun made for excellent racing conditions although the wind came into play for some races. The course was a challenge with a hill early in the lap and loose sand throughout.

Notable winners include Elle Anderson (Ladies First Racing) for Elite Women and Justin Robinson (California Giant/Specialized) for Master Men 35+ A. Mike Urbina (Team Wrong Way) bunny hopped and jumped his way to a win in Single Speed B Men 2/3/4. Andy Jacques-Maynes (California Giant/Specialized) began his cyclocross season with another win at CCCX. Full results are posted at CCCX Cyclocross Race #1 Results.
